No, They belong to you, and I will call them green.

Re: More A7 questions
To my eyes, yours look a little greener than my grey drivers, but no where near as green as my "Altec green" drivers. As Dave said, lighting could be a factor. I can tell you that my grey drivers looked as grey in person as they do in the photos--there was absolutely not even a hint of green to them in person--just like in the photos. I'm assuming since you've been referring to your drivers as green they do have the greenish hue (in person) that I can see in your photo. If that's the case, then your 416's are not the same color as my grey drivers or as my "Altec green" drivers. Hmmmm........

Re: More A7 questions
Wife says, "I agree" (edit; the gray/green of my photos is also accurate. WTF, calling all of the Altec history pros.
?)

Re: More A7 questions
So, Nobody has a comment on a crossover frequency for my 8 piezos? How about 8000hz, 10000hz? I just discovered that I'm deaf above 12000hz.

Re: More A7 questions
I must have missed the question. If you run those piezos hot enough, you may find that you can hear above 12KHz - for awhile.
8K is what would work on my horns.

Re: More A7 questions
Ok, the first online crossover calculator I picked says that for an 8ohm load and 8000hz high pass filter, I need a 2.48687 uf capacitor. It's a capacitor I need right, I'm pretty ignorant? Parts express Solans has a 1.5 and 1.0, so wire these in parallel and then also in parallel to all of the piezos? Since these tweeters don't seem to register as having any ohm resistance consiquence (what's that mean, they have infinite resistance?), how do I pick the capacitor?

I'd help you Volvo, but crossovers I'm still learning myself !
Somtimes you may have to get different brands if Solens don't have the value you need.I would try Dayton's or Sonicaps, all are reasonable in price.When you hook them up hook them up in a way that you can easily change out one cap for another.You should try to get as close as you can to the correct values. 2.4,2.49,2.5,are all pretty close,if you can get in that range you should be good.But doesn't mean you will like it.That's were making it easy to change them out comes in.

Re: More A7 questions
Good idea, use spade connectors with some die electric grease on everything. I also need an L-pad and some resistor to protect the amp I guess. Just checking,
8ohms 7.5KHz = 2.65uf
...........8.0KHz = 2.49uf
...........8.5KHz = 2.34uf
7ohms 7.5KHz = 3.03uf
...........8.0KHz = 2.84uf
...........8.5KHz = 2.68uf
So a little difference goes a long ways. How do I pick the ohms?
